Short-Term Pain, Long-Term Gain
A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls. ~ Proverbs 25:28 (NLT).
Do you exercise self-control? Most people react on their emotions. They don't think before they act. If we don't feel like exercising, we don't. If we are angry, we blow up at whoever is in our path. If we think before we act and consider the long-term gain rather than the short-term pain, we would be walking with more self control.
