In His Strength

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. - Isaiah 59:19 (KJV).

When the enemy comes, God knows it.  He knows when we are being harassed, tormented and picked on by the devil.  God sees everything.  The Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against the devil on our behalf.  He will cause the devil to flee from us.  He will drive the devil away.  Most of us are trying to fight the devil in our own strength, in our own power.  However, the best weapon we have against the devil is to rest in the Lord and let God fight our battles for us.
