Are You Listening?

Then the people answered, "Far be it from us to forsake the LORD to serve other gods!  - Joshua 24:16 (NIV).

Most of us would readily agree that we would not forsake God to serve other gods, but how much time do we really spend with God?  I don't mean reading our daily Bible chapters to cross them off our list.  I don't mean praying prayers when we need something or are in trouble.  How many times do we just sit in His presence?  How many times do we read the Bible and enjoy reading it?  How many times do we listen to God reveal Himself to us?  God is talking, but are we listening?  Or are we doing all the talking?  Or are we too busy to talk to Him at all?

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?  Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin?  That He was raised from the dead?  Then just pray aloud, "Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins.  Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour."  If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again.  Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
