Nailed To The Cross

@ 09:44 AM (19 months, 15 days ago)

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. - Colossians 2:13-14 (NKJV).

Only A Prayer Away

@ 09:10 AM (19 months, 18 days ago)

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. - Hebrews 13:5 (KJV).

God will never leave you nor forsake you.

You can be in India or in a small village in Kenya.  You can be in the remotest part of Antarctica or on the International Space Station.  You can be anywhere in the world, and God still knows where you are.

You could have committed murder, embezzled money from your company or some other hideous crime, but God still won’t leave you.

He never says, “I’m sorry.  You are just too much trouble for me.”  No, He is still there for you.  He loves you and is only a prayer away.

Need Him?  Call out to Him now.  He is always listening for your cry.  Your voice is music to His ears.

Your Sister In Christ,

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?  Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin?  That He was raised from the dead?  Then just pray aloud, "Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins.  Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour."  If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again.  Let us know if you prayed this prayer.

That's Why

@ 08:54 AM (19 months, 19 days ago)

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. - I Timothy 2:5-6 (KJV).

Some times I feel like I am traveling the same road over and over.  I feel like I keep talking about the same concepts in different ways.

But at one time, for me, the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of my Lord were nothing but Bible stories.  I believed they happened, but today they are so real to me.

I know that I know that I know that Jesus died for me and that He rose from the dead.  No one can convince me otherwise.

Jesus gave Himself as a ransom for me.  He had a choice.  He could have backed out, but He didn't.  He died for me and you and everyone else in this world.

That's why I love Him and that's why I praise Him and that's why I gave my life back to Him.  It's also why I am constantly bringing every thing back to this fundamental basis of our faith.

Your Sister In Christ,

Why Don’t You Ever Call?

@ 10:04 AM (19 months, 20 days ago)

Acknowledge What He Has Done

@ 08:41 AM (19 months, 21 days ago)

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 6:23 (KJV).

We celebrate what Jesus did for us on the cross--how He died and rose from the dead--once a year.  Remembering what Jesus did for us, how He died in our place, how He was judged for every sin we could ever commit, though, should be a daily occurrence.

I believe that we should recognize, acknowledge, what Jesus went through to forgive all our sins, to heal all our diseases, to redeem our lives from destruction, to satisfy our mouths with good things, to renew our youth like the eagles.

I challenge you to pray the 103rd Psalm, verses 1-5 first thing every morning before your eyes even open for thirty days.  Watch what it does to your relationship with God when you acknowledge what He has done for you.

The Best We Can Be

@ 09:54 AM (20 months, 2 days ago)

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.- 2 Peter 1:5-8 (NIV).

How?

@ 08:40 AM (20 months, 7 days ago)

How many times do we ask God for things?  How many times do we believe His Word about our situation, but our minds are consumed with how God is going to do it.  We need to banish the "how" from our vocabulary because believing is our job.  The "how" is God's job.

What I See

@ 08:55 AM (20 months, 8 days ago)

As I've said many times, I am a recovering worrier.  For years, I have been quoting a list of Scripture-based confessions every morning.  In doing this, I have been agreeing with what God says about me.  Many times I have wanted to give up because I have seen no fruit from this endeavor.  However faith is not seeing.  Faith is believing that even though I don't see God working, He is.  Faith is believing God and His Word, not the evidence I see with my physical eyes.
