Come Home
For most of us the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15) is about a son who comes home from wild living and repents before his father.
The father had been waiting for that boy to come home. He hugged his son and kissed on him even though his son probably smelled of the animals the son had been feeding.
The father heard the apology, and his heart probably felt better because of it, but the father just wanted his son home.
God, our Heavenly Father, is waiting for His lost children to come home. Many times we talk about this in terms of sinners, but in order to be His children, we had to accept Christ.
He is waiting with open arms for those of us who have wandered away from Him, who don’t spend time in His presence but instead do things for God instead of with God.
God loves us. He is always waiting with open arms for His children to return to Him. He too wants to embrace us and kiss on us and show us how much He loves us.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin? That He was raised from the dead? Then just pray aloud, "Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour." If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again. Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
