Nailed To The Cross

@ 09:44 AM (20 months, 3 days ago)

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. - Colossians 2:13-14 (NKJV).

Did you know that the Bible says that God nailed the law to the cross?  What does that mean?  It means that the conditions of the law have been fulfilled.

Who fulfilled them?  Jesus.

We can try to fulfill the law ourselves, but we will never be able to keep it perfectly as Jesus did.  That's why Jesus did it for us.

When God nailed it to the cross, He was saying that He accepted Jesus as our fulfillment of the law.

God not only send His Son to die for us, but He also had Jesus fulfill the conditions of the law to prevent us from staying in bondage.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?  Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin?  That He was raised from the dead?  Then just pray aloud, "Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins.  Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour."  If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again.  Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
