My Choice

@ 08:50 AM (3 months, 10 days ago)

Sunday night someone I had been praying for died.  I had a decision to make.  I could either continue to believe in God and His promises or I could blame Him.

I know better than to blame Him because He does not kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10).  However sometimes in our frustration, in the heat of the moment, we revert to our old ways of thinking.

I chose to continue believing.

She had terminal cancer.  She agreed with the doctor’s report.  That report got hold of her.   It settled down on the inside of her until she couldn’t see anything else but death.

Many times we are like that.  We have been in situations so long that we see no way out.  The reports that our senses have given us have sank deep into our hearts.

The Bible says in Romans 10:9-10 that whatever you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth you can have.

When the report is in our heart, we begin to speak it.  We agree with it.

Now do you want those bad things you have been believing and speaking to come to pass in your life?  If not, then take hold of what the Word says about your situation instead.   Make the Word of God the final authority in your life.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?  Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin?  That He was raised from the dead?  Then just pray aloud, "Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins.  Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour."  If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again.  Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
