What Is Failing In Your Life?
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. - Habakkuk 3:17-18 (KJV).
Even when things are going bad in our lives, like the person in these Scriptures with the fig tree not blossoming and the vines not budding, we still need to rejoice in our Lord.
Trouble is not from God. We live in this world, so we will have trouble. However Jesus tells us to be of good cheer because He overcame the world (John 16:33).
And where does Christ live now? In us (Colossians 1:27).
When we rejoice in the Lord in the midst of our trouble, we are trusting God to be faithful and bring us through the difficulty.
God doesn't bring the trouble, but if we let Him, He can use it as an opportunity to springboard us to bigger and better things.
He can use what the devil meant for evil and turn it around for our good (Romans 8:28).

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin? That He was raised from the dead? Then just pray aloud, "Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour." If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again. Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
